Red Sox vs. Yankees...Yawn

It's a lot harder to get up for this rivalry when the Yankees are 13.5 games out of first place. The Yankees can't even hurt the Sox in this series, even with a sweep, while Boston can crush the Yanks' microscopic wild card chances with a dominant performance. This series is a lose-lose waiting to happen.

At least tonight's pitching matchup should be interesting, featuring two of the more unique pitchers in baseball. Chien-Ming Wang is a rare breed indeed: a hard thrower who can't strike anybody out but is still inexplicably successful. And Timmy Lunchpail, while a douche, is one of the last of a dying breed. When the last knuckleballer dies, the world will be an emptier place. But, Yanks, tonight, let's light up Lunchpail, and break this guy's heart:
